We understand that many of our patients are immunocompromised and many doctors are urging patients to replace in-person visits with telemedicine tools.  This holds true for our patient families in neurosurgery and neuro-oncology.

As NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine continues to fight the spread of #COVID19, we have expanded Virtual Visits to enable patients to video conference with their doctor instead of coming into the hospital for appointments.

This service has been extended to over 4,000 primary and specialty care physicians at Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group, including hematologists and oncologists.

Alongside our patient families, the neurosurgery team at Weill Cornell Medicine is navigating these uncharted waters together. Dr. Souweidane, Dr. Greenfield, and the rest of the team encourage patients to stay safe by utilizing this service whenever possible.
