The Children’s Brain Tumor Project Team is comprised of past and present patient families, biomedical researchers and neurosurgical clinicians working together to find a cure for pediatric brain cancers. The success of the team primarily rests in the transparency that exists between each of these three groups. Clinicians and researchers work hand-in-hand with patient families to provide personalized cancer treatments designed to target each child’s specific needs. Our families have developed strong personal and professional relationships with both the medical professionals and scientific researchers working to combat these fatal diseases allowing for the development of new therapeutic approaches and novel research directions in pediatric neuro-oncologic medicine.
