TEAM CBTP RAISES MORE THAN $75,000 FOR RUNNING THE UNITED AIRLINES NYC HALF

After raising an incredible $75,000 for the lab, the Children’s Brain Tumor Project team hit the pavement on Sunday, March 16, running 13.1 miles through Brooklyn and Manhattan in the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon.
The race was a blast for our dedicated group—including research team members Chris Padilla and Patrick Halloran—and a meaningful milestone for many athletes who have been personally impacted by pediatric brain tumors.
Top fundraiser Lauren Dubois ran in honor of her brother Charlie, a medulloblastoma survivor. Victoria Dauksza ran for her daughter Lily, who is currently undergoing treatment. And Frank ran alongside his brother Anthony to honor the memory of his beloved son, Keanu “Kiki” Paulino.
Of course, we are deeply grateful to our entire team: Emma Burns, Robert Cecere, Christine Cleary, Jenna Diblanda, Joseph Gardella, Victor Li, Blake Marquez, Jocelyn & Jennifer Mendez-Romero, Cassie Montgomery, Katie Mourino, Arnaud Plas, Richard Sison, and Denise Sullivan.
Thank you for every mile, every dollar, and every step toward a cure.
ON A SCALE OF ONE-TO-TEN, THIS TEAM IS A 13.1!
The Children’s Brain Tumor Project Foundation has also been accepted as an official charity partner for the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon (TEAM FULL), and we have one spot left to run the BERLIN MARATHON, a World Major!
