THE ANNUAL FAMILY COUNCIL MEETING

Dr. Jeffrey Greenfield and Dr. Mark Souweidane to Host Annual Family Meeting

The Children’s Brain Tumor Project is powered by families. Our research would not be possible without the generous support of patient families and family-founded nonprofits who believe in our mission and invest in our work. We are also deeply grateful to the families who have consented to share their child’s precious tumor tissue—often during the most difficult of circumstances—to advance pediatric brain tumor research.

We all agree that families facing a pediatric brain tumor diagnosis should not bear the responsibility of funding the science that could change outcomes for future children. But the sad reality is that labs like ours rely on support from our patient family and nonprofit community to keep our work moving forward when government funding falls short.

That’s why it’s so important for us to share progress and updates with the people who make this work possible. We welcome anyone impacted by a pediatric brain tumor diagnosis—those who have contributed tissue, raised awareness, supported our lab in any way, or who may be interested in funding this critical work—to sign up below. We will not be hosting via zoom this year, but we will circulate an overview of the materials presented afterward. Light breakfast will be served.
