The lab team at the Children’s Brain Tumor Project is working at an unprecedented pace in order to advance cures. Our team is focused on two strategic paths forward: (1) basic research toward breakthrough discoveries, and (2) translational research that will enable us to bring those discoveries to clinic.
Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium Loses Federal Funding
December 1, 2025 - The National Cancer Institute will end funding for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium (PBTC) — a network that has led groundbreaking early-phase clinical trials for children with brain tumors since 1999.

October 31, 2025 - Seventh annual comedy night fundraiser honoring Nancy Goodman raised more than $750,000 for the CBTP Lab.
